It's really not that bad this time of year

Hey folk,

I just got back from my trip to Minnesota last Sunday. . . . it was great! We stayed in a log cabin on lake Pokegama in Northern Minnisota. Plus, I never knew how many cool cousins I have.

Today I'm also leaving to teach a summer music camp in La Honda. Nuts!

I've been really stoked to move out, only a few weeks left until I am a resident of Hayward. . . . haha. Hayward is gross, but whatever. School starts in Sept. yuck.

Anyways, now is the time to get the kicks in. Crazy summers make up for boring winters.

peace!

Crazy Outlook

I just went to the orientation for CSUEB yesterday, and it really gave me a look at the next two years of my life.

I need to put in around 2 hours of practice in a day between now and September, to sort of prep for next year. The Jazz program requires that you test at a certain level for Classical first, so I will be working on bowings and things for upright bass. . . . . . not exactly a fun time.

BUT, I gotta keep an eye on the prize. If I place well, then I get to study jazz for the next two years :)

By the way, I am a compulsive bass gear nerd. I can't stop looking for better gear, no matter how much sleep I need. This has been like a 9 year sickness.

Anyways, sleepy time

Peace
